I’d like to share with you the culinary secrets of Calabria and the Southern Italian regions of Sicily, Basilicata, Puglia and Campania. Savor dishes served among fishing and farming families there, find out how Calabrians use their ingenuity to bring out the best in everyday fare, and learn to prepare the dishes in your own home.
At my cooking classes, team-building events, and private parties, students get hands-on experience preparing foods the way it has been done for hundreds of years in Southern Italy. Classes feature seasonal menus using fresh-picked fruits and vegetables from my organic garden or farmers’ markets. Whether a simple appetizer, specialty pasta, fresh ricotta, luscious dessert, or preserving of the summer harvest, the cooking is always fun, and everyone sits down to enjoy the fruits of their labor!
